“Even my fears, my anxieties and, of course, euphoria.”

 Rihm was a composer who was not afraid to show vulnerability within his creative process.

Music is always humanity.

The concerts, performances, musicians, works, audience, places—all of these things show that music is always human. And they are things that can never be seen again. I never got to see Riem.

演奏会、演奏、演奏家、作品、聴衆、場所、すべてからいえるのは音楽が常に人間的だということ。そしてそれらは二度とみられないものだということ。リームは1度もお目にかかれませんでした。
